Digital Media I

In today’s media environment, it is essential for content creators to be comfortable working with many types of media. In this course, students will examine current professional and consumer trends in digital content creation and social media, following both the technological and theoretical advances that have disrupted mediums such as print, television, and film. This course is part of our certification in Film Production with a specialization in Digital Media, which provides newcomers and veterans with the comprehensive set of skills necessary to create content for many different types of social media platforms.

Note: Basic knowledge of English grammar, graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere/Final Cut and After Effects), and website creation platforms (WordPress or Wix) will be covered.

Students must have Adobe Creative Cloud installed on their computers for this course.

Course Hours: 80 Clock Hours
